Behind The Scenes - 2014 Ad Campaign
November 7, 2013
This past month, I shot my 2014 ad campaign at Pier 59 Studios in New York City. The talented Daniel Jackson, who is most known for his work shooting countless campaigns for the top designers in the business, photographed both the 2014 fall bridal and 2014 spring ready to wear collections. The shoot was styled by my long term stylist and friend, Tiina Laakkonen. Australian local, Codie Young modeled for both shoots. Here is a first look at some behind the scenes snaps from the day. Enjoy! xx Monique
Spring 2014 is all about the art of sheer elegance. This season is dedicated to delicately balanced textures, innovative layering and sophisticated ease.
A rich color palette of coral, fuchsia and red pop against neutrals like cream, soft rose gold and nude.
Evening gowns evoke ease and elegance. Rich chocolate brown replaces black in ombré chiffon with regal draping.
Separates, like ball gown skirts and cropped bandeaus, are a new interpretation of traditional eveningwear.
My fall bridal collection celebrates romance with an heirloom quality. Femininity and sensuality runs throughout the collection.
The fabrics are layers of tulle with an array of signature lace details.
Embroideries are delicate in floral, lattice and vine motifs, colored in antique silver and rose-gold threadwork inspired by the timelessness of our secret garden.
Silhouettes are molded with billowing skirts to bring out the goddess in our bride this season.
